A Chirp in the Wilderness

As the sun rays break the stillness of dawn

And as the horizon slowly brightens the early morn

So do I open my eyes to a world beset with wants…

Another day.

Here I am

Just a dot in the universe of humanities

Trying to give warmth with a curled smile in my lips

Though I know that with my songs

I’m just like a chirp in the wilderness.
