Just when you thought
The one step you have taken
Is your last
Do not despair.
Beyond the horizon
Are streaks of hope
That beckon
Pulling you
Towards a new dawn
Where life is not like
What you have been living
In the days that passed.
Beyond the horizon are challenges
That dare
Prodding you
To go on farther
Just be tough
In facing the world
That wallows in greed and lust
Be strong and you’ll make it –
Just don’t give up.
